Our state-of-the-art medical spa offers a wide range of cosmetic procedures performed by skilled healthcare professionals. Procedures can be customized to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring the best possible results. The innovative and continually updated treatments we offer include:
Hyperpigmentation is a common reason patients seek out skin rejuvenation procedures. These areas of discoloration may be due to sun damage, freckles or the aging process. The best type of procedure for this skin concern depends on the patient’s skin tone and previous experience with resurfacing procedures. It is important to perform a thorough assessment of the skin prior to treatment to determine what type of procedure will work best.
Shallow acne scars can be effectively minimized through skin rejuvenation procedures as well. Intense pulsed light (IPL) resurfacing is a particularly attractive option for this purpose, offering precision and stellar results for patients with lighter skin tones. Passer Restorative Therapies offers a comprehensive skin assessment prior to treating acne scars to ensure the best resurfacing option for a patient’s needs and skin tone.
When we think about anti-aging injections, many people automatically think Botox. While Botox is a fantastic option for wrinkles in the corners of the eyes (crow’s feet) and frown lines between the brows, other injections offer treatment for deeper folds and volume loss in the face. Dermal fillers have become increasingly popular in the world of aesthetics, and Dr. Gross is skilled in the art of injection with these fillers, as they address considerable volume loss changes in the cheeks, around the mouth, under the eyes, and in the forehead and chin area.
We offer a detailed facial consultation that involves talking with each client about their skin care, aesthetic desires, and medical history before recommending one or all of the following injections. Depending on the medical history, previous surgical procedures performed and cosmetic concerns, one or more of these injections may work for you.
Botox is a direct injection into wrinkle-causing muscles directly beneath the dermal layer. When it comes to treating crow’s feet and frown lines, Botox rules the cosmetic industry, having been approved since 2002. This injection works directly with the muscle to relax contractions and allow the wrinkled skin to smooth over the face, reducing their appearance. Injections of Botox occur in the procerus muscle between the eyebrows and the dual corrugator muscles around the eyes.
Voluma is our star dermal filler. We recommend this diverse dermal filler for those who suffer from moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles throughout the face caused by a high degree of volume loss. Tissues in the face break down as proteins degenerate, making the cheeks and forehead look sunken in and facial expressions harsh. Dermal fillers such as Juvederm Voluma XC® are not injected into the muscle, but instead injected into the space between the dermis and muscle, where the connection between the two is weakened.
Voluma is also composed of hyaluronic acid, which helps to hydrate and soften the skin, causing it to look healthier overall.
Contouring and volume loss in the cheeks is treated exclusively with Juvederm Voluma® XC. Juvederm Voluma® for volume loss in the cheeks can last up to two full years in some clients. Studies have shown a dramatically younger appearance six months after treatments. We will recommend the best option for you during your Voluma consultation.
As we age, your skin loses elasticity and moisture, which contributes to moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. Juvederm Ultra XC adds volume to smooth these lines and folds, helping to give a more youthful appearance to the lips and parentheses lines.
Double chin is no longer an issue with Kybella. This injection helps to blast fat cells and make sure they can no longer hold fat in this area that causes double chin. Deoxycholic acid within the injection breaks down the outer shell of fat cells, and once they’re gone, fat has nowhere to go. The amount of fat after cellular degeneration is also addressed and noticeable as weeks progress, seen through a series of photos taken for progress monitoring. Injections of Kybella take anywhere from two to four sessions, but can require up to six treatments to see the full effects. Dr. Gross recommends this to clients that have difficulty losing the weight in this area after they’ve maintained a healthy weight throughout the rest of the body.
